As mentioned before, many customers have many doubts about how to reduce the incorrect use of diesel generator sets. In fact, not only diesel generator sets but also the use of diesel generator parts is equally important. So, how can we extend the service life of diesel generator parts?
The fundamental causes of accessory damage, apart from product quality issues, are mainly due to improper use of the machine, untimely and incorrect maintenance and repair. Here are several measures to extend the service life of accessories for the reference of our customers.
Strictly enforce the fuel sedimentation and filtration system. The diesel added should be settled for at least 48 hours before being taken out. The diesel used should conform to the standard type specified for the season. The refueling tools should be clean and dedicated. The places for refueling and storing fuel should also be kept clean to prevent dirt from mixing into the fuel and accelerating the wear of the mating parts, thereby reducing the service life of the accessories.
2. Establish strict technical maintenance and care regulations. Clean the fuel filter once every 100 hours of operation and the fuel tank once every 500 hours. If the filter element is found to be damaged and lose its effect, replace it in time. Do not remove it and use direct current fuel supply. Accessories should be disassembled and inspected once after working under normal conditions for 500 hours. When disassembling and inspecting, ensure that the site, hands, tools and cleaning oil are clean to prevent the parts from being contaminated. When disassembling, do not strike or hit randomly. When cleaning, do not stack or place randomly. Do not wash together with other non-mating parts to avoid scratches or abrasions. During assembly, the assembly position must not be changed at will to achieve certain purposes that do not meet the working requirements of the machine. When installing the fuel outlet valve tight seat and the fuel nozzle tight cap, they should be tightened to the specified torque to ensure the good technical condition of the fuel injector and fuel injection pump after assembly.
In addition to the above requirements, it is also necessary to enhance the understanding of accessories, grasp their structural characteristics and working principles, and strengthen and improve the maintenance, operation and use of accessories. One should not make random adjustments when there are no faults, not disassemble them at will during maintenance and use, not strike them randomly during repair and inspection, not rub or touch them randomly during cleaning and maintenance, and not modify or twist them randomly during assembly and adjustment. All operations shall be carried out in accordance with the technical requirements of the specifications to achieve the purpose of extending its service life.
