To ensure that the diesel injected into the cylinder by the diesel engine’s fuel injector can be completely burned in a timely manner, it is necessary to regularly check the fuel supply time of the fuel pump. If the fuel supply time is too early, the vehicle will experience difficulties in starting and cylinder knocking. If the fuel supply time is too late, it will cause black smoke to come out of the exhaust, the engine temperature to be too high and the fuel consumption to increase.
The fit accuracy of the needle valve pair of the fuel injector is extremely high, and the nozzle diameter is very small. Therefore, it is necessary to strictly select the specified grade of clean diesel according to the seasonal changes; otherwise, the fuel injector cannot work normally.
When cleaning the needle valve pair of the fuel injector, do not collide it with other hard objects, nor let it fall to the ground to avoid scratches and abrasions. When replacing the needle valve pair of the fuel injector, the new pair should first be immersed in hot diesel at 80℃ for about 10 seconds to allow the anti-rust oil to fully dissolve. Then, in clean diesel, the needle valve should be moved back and forth in the valve body to thoroughly clean it. Only in this way can the fault of the needle valve sticking due to the dissolution of the anti-rust oil during the operation of the fuel injector be avoided.
