Selection of cleaning agent

1. Good insulation performance, with a withstand voltage of 25kV or above;

2.It is non-flammable and volatile at room temperature;

3. Can clean dust, oil stains, moisture and other impurities that cause the insulation of electrical equipment to decrease, and leave no residue;

4. Does not damage the insulation of electrical equipment;

Specific operation method

1. Open the large and small end covers on both sides of the generator stator;

2. Use a common car cleaning machine for cleaning, adjust the outlet pressure to 0.4-1 Mpa, adjust the spray nozzle to a mist state, and insert the spray nozzle into the ventilation port at the front end of the rotor for spraying cleaning;

3. During cleaning, the rotor must be in a rotating state, with a rotational speed of 7-8 revolutions per minute;

4. Clean separately on both ends for 10-30 minutes each;

5. During the spraying process, use a cleaning agent recovery device, and the recovered cleaning agent is filtered for sedimentation and can be reused;

6. During the cleaning process, test the rotor insulation with a 1000V摇表, and it is considered qualified when the insulation reaches 10MΩ, then stop cleaning;

7. After the rotor insulation is qualified, run the generator at no-load for 8-12 hours under the condition of turning the rotor, allowing the cleaning agent to fully evaporate, then test the rotor insulation with a 1000V摇表, and if it is qualified, reinstall the generator end cover and start the machine for operation.

8. During the cleaning agent spraying, the rotor must rotate at the turning speed under the disk operation, otherwise, uneven cleaning process may cause accumulation of dust at dead points, and the rotor insulation cannot be improved;

9. The spray nozzle must be in a mist state, otherwise, excessive pressure may cause damage to the insulation of the rotor coil;

10. The withstand voltage of the insulation cleaning agent must be 25kV or above, and it must have good volatility, so that the insulation cleaning agent can form a layer with high insulation performance on the coil, improving the rotor insulation strength.
