(1). Automatic Generator Switching Function:
1. Self-starting Function:
· When the mains power is lost, the unit automatically starts.
· Number of allowed startups: three times.
· Time for each startup and closing the circuit breaker: 5 to 8 seconds.
· When the startup is successful once, the total time for startup and power supply connection does not exceed 10 seconds.
· If the three startups fail, an “Startup Failure” alarm is issued and the startup program is automatically exited.
2. Automatic Generator Switching Function:
· When the mains power is restored, the unit continues to operate for 30 seconds (adjustable). First, disconnect the power supply switch of the equipment, then restore the mains power supply.
3. Automatic Shutdown Function:
· After the mains power supply is restored, the unit automatically shuts down after running at idle (or empty) for 1 to 3 minutes (adjustable).
4. Manual/Automatic Operating Mode Selection Function.
5. Display and alarm function for the operating conditions and mechanical faults of the unit.

(3). Automatic Generator Switching:
The automatic switching cabinet uses a dual-power automatic switching device (hereinafter referred to as the switching device) as the main device of the automatic switching cabinet, suitable for AC 50Hz, rated working voltage of 400V dual-power power supply systems. In case of failure of the main power supply, the switching device can achieve automatic switching with the backup power supply or the generator to ensure the reliability and safety of power supply. It can also perform selective switching between the two power supplies according to the load requirements. The switching device has dual protection of electrical interlock and mechanical interlock, and has overvoltage, undervoltage protection and phase loss protection functions.
