1. Preparations
Before assembling the diesel engine, all the intake pipe gaskets, exhaust pipe gaskets, cylinder head outlet pipe gaskets, gaskets at the interface between the water pump and the cylinder head outlet pipe, asbestos paper, power knives, small wooden hammers, kilogram force wrenches, sockets, open-end wrenches, box wrenches and other parts and tools related to assembly should be fully prepared to prevent any missing parts during assembly and strive for perfection. All the components that should be cleaned, dusted and rust-removed must be thoroughly cleaned.
2. Component assembly
Component assembly refers to the process of assembling parts into complete components or assemblies in accordance with certain assembly requirements.
3. Final assembly
Final assembly refers to the process of assembling various sub-components or parts from the inside out in accordance with certain requirements and sequences. During the assembly process, it is necessary to pay attention to conducting tests on the relative positions and fit clearances of each component, as well as the sealing performance of oil and water, such as the sealing tests of cylinder liners and water pumps.
4. Inspection and adjustment after final assembly
After the final assembly, the valve clearance, valve timing and fuel supply timing should be inspected and adjusted. After completing the above work, conduct a test run.
