Cooling water tank radiator surface is not clean. Insufficient coolant in the cooling water tank. It is necessary to check the cause of cooling water loss, and check whether the cooling water pipe of the cooling water tank and the fuselage is leaking. If there is leakage, it should be repaired immediately. Then refill coolant to normal level.
The failure of the cooling water pump causes the cooling water not to circulate and the water temperature to rise. This is due to wear and leak of internal gear after the pump is used for a long time. This fault is also rare in the standby oil machine. Contact the manufacturer to repair or replace the water pump.
The thermostat is faulty. The thermostat should not be opened when the temperature of the cooling water changes, so that the circulation path of the cooling water cannot be changed, and the flow of the cooling water into the cooling water tank can be controlled to adjust the cooling intensity. In this case, you need to replace the thermostat.
The use of unqualified coolant makes the cooling water pipe accumulated with scale, rust and other things hinder the circulation of cooling water and cause the water temperature to rise. For the use of coolant we should at least use qualified tap water, preferably distilled, deionized or pure water.
After the Volvo generator is used for a long time, the cooling fan belt will gradually age and become inelastic or a belt will break, resulting in the cooling fan losing its normal blowing capacity. In this case, replace the belt of the cooling fan. Another situation is that the cooling fan pulley bearing sagging after wear causes belt relaxation, affecting the ability of blowing. However, the phenomenon is rare in the standby oil machine, as long as the cooling fan pulley bearing sufficient lubrication can be avoided during normal maintenance.
