Firstly, if the diesel generator set is working outdoors in the wild, in winter, special attention should be paid to the change of temperature. When the environmental temperature is below 0 degrees, the cooling water in the radiator of the diesel generator set should be drained. Because when the temperature is below 0 degrees, water will freeze into ice, and at this time, the volume change is relatively large. When water changes from liquid to solid, the volume expands and may cause damage to the radiator of the cooling water box and even crack the cylinder body.
Secondly, in winter, due to the poor working environment of the diesel generator set, it is necessary to frequently replace the air filter components. Due to the cold weather, the requirements for air filter components and diesel engine filter components are particularly high. If not replaced in time, it will increase the wear of the engine and affect the lifespan of the diesel engine.
Thirdly, when choosing engine oil for the diesel generator set in winter, it is advisable to select engine oil with a lower viscosity.
Fourthly, when starting the diesel generator set in winter, the air temperature inside the cylinder is very low. After the piston tightens the gas, it is difficult to reach the natural temperature of diesel. Therefore, before starting the diesel engine, corresponding auxiliary methods should be selected to measure the temperature of the diesel engine body.
Fifthly, after starting the diesel generator set, it should run unloaded for 3-5 minutes to raise the temperature of the generator set and check the working condition of the lubricating oil. Everything is normal before it can be put into normal operation. During the operation of the diesel generator set, it is strictly forbidden to suddenly shut down. It should be unloaded first and then wait for the machine to run for a period of time before shutting down. Otherwise, over time, the service life of the diesel engine will be greatly reduced.
