The fuel supply volume of the fuel injection pump is excessive due to the adjustment of the fuel injection pump plunger, or the locking screw of the adjusting gear ring is loose, causing the adjusting gear ring to shift, resulting in excessive fuel supply volume of the fuel injection pump.
2. The adjustment screw that limits the rated oil volume of the rack in the governor is adjusted too much or the limit screw of the throttle handle is adjusted too much.
3. Excessive engine oil in the governor will increase the fuel supply and cause the vehicle to “speed up”.
When the fuel supply is excessive, it will increase fuel consumption, incomplete fuel combustion, black smoke from the exhaust of the diesel generator, severe carbon deposits in the combustion chamber, accelerate the wear of the cylinder, piston and piston ring, and even cause overheating and knocking of the diesel generator set. Therefore, only by conducting targeted inspections on the unit based on the above three common causes can the right treatment be given.
