Diesel generator sets are widely used as emergency standby power supplies for telecommunications, finance, hospitals, schools, commercial establishments, industrial and mining enterprises and residential buildings. They also serve as independent power sources for military operations, field work, vehicles, vessels and other special applications.
For diesel generator sets used in the telecommunications industry, they shall meet the requirements of Grade G3 or G4 specified in GB 2820-1997, as well as the 24 performance indicators stipulated in the Detailed Rules for Implementation of Network Access Quality Certification and Testing for Diesel Generator Sets for Telecommunications. In addition, the equipment must pass rigorous inspection conducted by the Quality Supervision and Inspection Center for Telecommunications Power Equipment established by competent national industrial authorities.
For diesel generator sets applied to military telecommunications, they shall conform to GB 2820-1997, relevant GJB standards and the Quality Testing Standards for Telecommunications Power Equipment formulated by competent military departments, and pass strict quality inspection by designated authorities.
