1. Pay attention to the occasion of use
1) The generator should be placed outdoors or in a well-ventilated place in the machine room. It should not be near doors, Windows or vents to prevent carbon monoxide from entering the room.
2) Generators should not be used near flammable and explosive materials.
3) The generator should be placed in a dry place. If it needs to be installed and used in the open air, it must be shielded by a canopy type building to prevent contact accidents due to humidity.
2. Pay attention to the storage and use of fuel
1) Generator fuel should be stored in a special warehouse, and the facilities in the warehouse must meet the regulations of the fire department.
2) The type of fuel used should be consistent with the requirements on the generator instruction manual or label.
3) Before adding fuel, the generator should be turned off first, and then added after the motor is cooled, so as to prevent the fuel from gradually catching fire on the parts with higher temperature, causing disasters.
3. Pay attention to the line connection of the generator
1) The specifications of the outside line must be able to meet the requirements of the electrical load used.
2) When using extended wires, make sure that the insulation between them and the ground is good.
3) The outlet line of the generator should not be directly inserted into the original power socket of the house for power supply, which will form feedback, which may cause electric shock accident for users powered by the same transformer. The proper connection is to install the power transfer switch by an electrician.
4. Keep diesel clean.
Before using the oil drum to fill diesel, it should be fully precipitated, and the precipitation time is best in more than 3 days. When refueling should also be carefully filtered to prevent the mixing of mechanical impurities. Keep the oil storage container and oiling tools clean during operation.
5. The diesel oil of the unit cannot be mixed with other fuels.
If there are other fuels in diesel, the combustion performance will be significantly worse, resulting in starting difficulty, or even can not start. Other fuel into the cylinder will also wash the cylinder lubricating oil film, accelerate the wear of the cylinder.
6, try to choose high quality diesel.
The quality of diesel oil is directly related to whether the diesel engine can run normally. If the use of poor quality diesel, on the one hand due to poor combustion, resulting in the reduction of diesel power, so that its power shortage; On the other hand, if used for a long time, it will accelerate the wear of the fuel system and reduce the service life of the diesel engine.
