Important fastener assembly points for diesel generator?

For diesel generator set maintenance, the firmware is often tightened with a wrench, or the fasteners are knocked by hand. Therefore, the diesel engine often breaks down in the work after installation, and some even cause serious accidents. Precautions for assembling important fasteners for diesel engines are as follows.

1. Cylinder head nut. When tightening the cylinder head nut, step by step tighten it to the specified torque according to the principle of diagonally crossing the first, middle and back sides. When removing the cylinder, it should be loosened gradually in the prescribed order. Uneven or uneven tightening of the cylinder head nut will result in warping deformation of the cylinder head plane. If the nut is tightened too tightly, the bolt will stretch out of shape and the body and thread will be damaged. If the nut is not screwed tightly enough, it will cause air leakage, water leakage and oil leakage in the cylinder, and the high temperature gas in the cylinder will burn out the cylinder pad.

2. Flywheel nut The flywheel of model S*95 diesel generator is connected with the crankshaft through conical and flat keys. To install, tighten the flywheel nut and lock it with a thrust washer. If the flywheel nut is not tightly tightened, the diesel engine will produce knocking sound when working. In serious cases, the crankshaft cone will be damaged, the keyway will be cut off, and the crankshaft will be twisted, resulting in serious accidents. Also, note that the thrust washer Angle can only be folded once.

3. Connecting rod bolts. Steel – processed connecting rod bolts have a great impact force in work, and can not be replaced by ordinary bolts. Torque should be uniform when tightening, and the two connecting rod bolts should be tightened several times in turn and locked with galvanized wire. If the connecting rod bolt tightening torque is too large, it will make the bolt stretch deformation or even fracture, resulting in cylinder accidents; If the connecting rod bolt tightening torque is too small, the bearing gap, when working produce knocking sound and impact load, even burning tile shaft and connecting rod bolt fracture.
