1. All work tickets related to the diesel generator set have been completed. The diesel engine is idle without any operation or obstacles.
2. Check that the lubricating oil level of the diesel generator is normal.
3. Check that the water level of the cooling water of the diesel generator is normal.
4. Check that the preheating of the diesel generator is normal.
5. There is no oil leakage or water leakage from the unit. The interior is clean and free of debris. The exhaust port is also free of debris.
6. The dashboard is clean inside and outside, with no debris. The electrical circuit is normal and there are no alarms on the control panel.
7. Check that all switch positions are correct and meet the startup requirements. Check that the position of the “emergency stop” button on the local dashboard of the diesel generator is correct. Check that the outlet switch of the diesel generator is in the open position.
8. Before starting the diesel generator, measure its insulation with a 1000V multimeter. The value should be no less than 0.5 MΩ.
