Part of the unit control panel has an idle/full speed switch, and the user can choose whether to start at idle or start at full speed at one time according to actual needs. Normally the idle running time should not exceed 5 minutes, and the unit should not run at idle for a long time
Press the start button for a maximum duration of no more than 30 seconds. The engine starts to start under the drive of the starter motor. Once the start is successful, the start button can be released and the unit enters the running state.
Suggestion: In order to extend the service life of the starting battery and starting motor, it is advisable to control the time to start the Cummins diesel generator set at 5-10 seconds. If the first start is unsuccessful, you can stop the corresponding time and start the second start procedure.
