1. The excitation winding of the main generator of the silent diesel generator set is seriously short circuited, and the current of the excitation winding of the exciter is very large. At this time, the excitation winding of the main generator of the unit has serious heating, vibration increases, the DC resistance of the excitation winding is much smaller than the normal value, and the short-circuit coil must be replaced.
2, silent diesel generator exciter excitation winding broken. At this time, check that the excitation winding resistance of the exciter should be infinite, and it is necessary to replace the wire break coil or connect the coil loop in time.
3, the silent diesel generator set automatic voltage regulator failure. At this time, at the rated speed, it is necessary to measure whether the output DC current value of the automatic voltage regulation is equal to the factory no-load characteristics of the generator, and overhaul the automatic voltage regulator.
