1. The diesel generator can operate continuously under the rated conditions. During operation, the following operating parameters should be monitored and checked to ensure they do not exceed (or fall below) the specified values:
Voltage, current, frequency, power factor, lubricating oil pressure, lubricating oil temperature, cooling water temperature, fuel tank oil level, battery charging voltage
400V ± 5% 2000A 50Hz 0.8 0.5MPa (refer to the relevant data) 30 – 35℃ Normal 24V DC
2. During operation of the diesel generator set, there should be no abnormal vibration, and the exhaust gas from the diesel generator should not have abnormal color.
3. During normal operation, the operation mode selection switch of the diesel generator should be set to the “automatic” position.
4. After the diesel generator starts for 10 seconds, it should reach the rated speed and voltage. If the voltage of the emergency busbar returns to normal within 10 seconds, the outlet switch of the diesel generator should not be closed; if the emergency busbar remains at a low voltage, the outlet switch of the diesel generator should be automatically closed to supply power to the emergency busbar.
5. Diesel generator sets must not be operated at idle for a long time. If there is no load, the generator should be shut down for standby.
6. The exhaust pipe of the generator set has a high exhaust temperature. Therefore, it is strictly prohibited for personnel to approach the exhaust pipe to prevent burns, and ensure that there is no dirty oil or other flammable substances around the exhaust pipe to prevent fires.
7. After the generator set stops, the cooling fluid temperature is very high. At this time, it is strictly prohibited to open the radiator cover, and it is forbidden to add coolant to the uncooled cooling system; otherwise, it will cause serious damage to the diesel engine.
8. After the generator set malfunctions, it is strictly prohibited to restart before troubleshooting and resetting. When the generator set is in “manual” or “automatic” mode, it is not allowed to press the fault reset button before the fault is eliminated.
