If a silent diesel generator is experiencing oil leakage, what could be the cause? The generator manufacturer will provide you with a detailed explanation on this issue.
1. The piston and cylinder liner of the silent diesel generator have poor sealing, causing oil to rise and burn;
2. Due to low equipment load, no-load conditions, and low turbocharger pressure, these factors can also affect the sealing effect of the equipment, causing oil to overflow into the cylinder;
3. Some of the oil flows through the cylinder for combustion, while a portion remains unburned. This portion will form carbon deposits and be discharged along with the exhaust. When the exhaust pipe assembly or carbon deposits form on the silent generator, when the oil and carbon accumulate to a certain extent, they will flow out from the interface of the exhaust manifold;
4. The accumulation of transformer oil in the silent diesel generator to a certain position can also cause the connection surface of the turbocharger to leak;
5. If the silent generator operates for a long time and at a low load, it can cause mechanical equipment components to fail and lead to combustion. Therefore, it is necessary to handle and repair it in time. The operation time at low loads and no-load should be minimized as much as possible.
