The oil quantity and quality of the Volvo diesel generator set does not meet the requirements. If there is too little oil in the sump; the oil becomes thinner and deteriorates, and the viscosity decreases; water and diesel are mixed in the engine oil. The oil pump is seriously worn or improperly assembled, the oil pressure of the pump cannot meet the requirements, and there is too much oil leakage in the pump. The oil collecting screen or filter is seriously blocked by sludge, and it is difficult for the oil to enter the main oil passage.
The oil pump inlet pipe joint is not tightly sealed, and the oil absorption phenomenon is serious. The lubricating oil circuit leaked seriously, causing a large amount of oil in the main oil passage to flow back to the oil pan from the leak to relieve pressure. The leaking parts mainly include: loose process oil plug on the body; broken oil pipe; loose screw plug of crankshaft journal centrifugal purification oil chamber; too large matching clearance of crankshaft bearing or cam bearing, and failure of oil pressure gauge and sensing plug (remove the sensor plug). If the pressure returns to normal at this time, it means that the sensing plug is damaged).
