Diesel engine oil pressure is too low causes of problems:
1. Crankcase oil level is too low or no oil;
2. The initiator coolant temperature is always maintained at a high temperature value, resulting in low oil viscosity;
3. The oil pressure sensor is defective or the sensor signal may be short-circuited to the ground;
4. The oil filter is blocked, which constitutes insufficient oil supply;
5. The use of lubricating oil viscosity grade does not meet the requirements of the operating environment.
Troubleshooting:
1. Check the scale of the oil scale to ensure that the oil level of the L and H positions of the oil gauge is full of oil, if there is a shortage of oil, please fill the same type of oil to the conventional scale;
2. According to the treatment method of starting the coolant temperature is too high, ensure that the coolant temperature is within the normal range;
3. Check the wiring on the pressure sensor to ensure that the connection is firm and reliable;
4. Record the resistance pressure value of the pressure sensor under the starting state, and compare it with the following table. If there is a big difference, please replace the pressure sensor;
5. Replace the filter;
6. Check the technical standards of oil products and replace oil products according to climatic conditions; If the above defects have been removed and the oil pressure of the initiator is still low, contact the generator manufacturer for treatment.
