The oil of the diesel generator set is a kind of lubricating oil for the engine. Because the engine parts of the diesel generator set are made of metal materials, if there is no lubrication, metal and metal friction is easy to cause damage to the parts, and this damage is irreversible and cannot be recovered; Therefore, it is necessary to rely on the oil to form an oil film on the parts to lubricate and protect the parts.
Different diesel generator manufacturers and different power diesel generator sets, the use of oil is not the same, under normal circumstances, the new engine in the first 50 hours after work and in the middle or overhaul after 50 hours, the oil replacement cycle is generally and the oil filter (filter) at the same time, the general oil replacement cycle is 250 hours or one month. With 2 types of oil, the oil can be replaced after 400 hours of extended work, but the oil filter (filter element) must be replaced.
The replacement of diesel generator oil can well ensure the stable use of the generator set, which also effectively extends the service life of the diesel generator set to a certain extent, so it is necessary to determine the exact replacement time of the oil in the process of using the diesel generator set.
Diesel generator set oil replacement method:
1, the generator set is placed on a plane, and start the engine for a few minutes to raise its oil temperature and then stop the engine.
2. Remove the oil drop bolt (that is, the oil scale).
3, put an oil basin under the engine, take the lower oil screw, oil can be discharged from the crankshaft tank.
4, check the oil screw, sealing ring and rubber ring, if damaged, please replace immediately.
5. Reinstall the playback oil screws and tighten them.
6. Add the oil to the upper position of the oil scale mesh grid.
After changing the diesel generator oil, you should ensure that the oil level is between the lowest and highest marks. The oil level should be checked every 8 hours during continuous use. Specific operations are as follows:
1, let the engine run to the operating temperature.
2. Remove the bolt plug at the bottom of the oil pan and drain the lubricating oil.
3, with a new gasket, install the bottom plug.
4. Remove the full flow filter and bypass filter, and check to ensure that the gaskets are not left on the engine.
5, clean the filter mounting seat, so as not to install the new filter when the dirt into the engine.
6, when installing the filter element, do not add lubricating oil to the filter element (because the added lubricating oil does not pass through the filter element will pollute the lubrication system), put some lubricating oil on the sealing pad, and screw the filter to the engine by hand until the sealing pad touches the base, and then tighten 3/4 turns.
7, add the lubricating oil to the appropriate position, do not exceed the highest mark.
8, start the engine, let it run at idle speed, check whether the oil pressure is normal.
9, turn off the engine, check whether there is oil leakage around the filter, if necessary, add.
