How To Choose Emergency Diesel Generator Set

In emergency situations, the unit is more suitable for high speed, pressurized, low fuel consumption and generator sets of the same capacity. In addition to the selection of the diesel generator set in the stationary state, the unit should also be selected in the emergency state, and the selection of the unit in the emergency state should be explained.

1. Because the high-speed supercharged diesel engine has a large capacity and a small space;

a, the unit selects the use of electronic or hydraulic speed control equipment, the speed regulation performance is better;

b. The generator should use synchronous motor with brushless excitation or phase compound excitation equipment, which is more reliable, low failure rate, and convenient for maintenance and repair;

2. Determination of capacity: The emergency generator set is used for emergency use, and is always in the standby emergency start state. The working time is not long, generally not more than 8 hours, and the capacity can be determined according to the “standby power supply”. According to the sum of the first-stage load capacity (excluding the spare capacity), it is possible to consider the capacity of the correction unit to meet the start-up requirement of the maximum load of the first-stage load, so that the capacity of the emergency diesel generator set can be determined accordingly. The emergency generator is generally a three-phase AC synchronous generator with a rated output voltage of 400V.

3. the number of units to determine: 1 set of automatic, 1000-1500 rev / min, brushless excitation, 400 / 230V, three-phase four-wire control panel, charge and discharge equipment, shared chassis generator set. The shared chassis can be shared with the daily fuel tank, reducing piping and floor space. When multiple units are selected, the unit should have complete equipment of type, capacity, pressure regulation, and proximity speed control characteristics. The fuel characteristics used should be used together for repair and maintenance and for sharing spare parts.
