After the diesel generator is used for a long time, the belt of the cooling fan will gradually age, become inelastic or break, resulting in the loss of the normal blowing ability of the cooling fan. At this time, the cooling fan belt needs to be replaced. When replacing, start replacing, not just one or the other. The elasticity of old and new belts varies greatly. When diesel generator is running, the cooling fan has large centrifugal force and air shear force. The elastic difference between a set of belts is not easy to drive the cooling fan operation, and the fan blades are easy to lose balance. The cooling fan is finely matched with the protective steel and cooling water tank. The change of balance may cause the fan to collide, and the three devices will be damaged. Another situation is that the belt pulley bearing of the cooling fan droops after wear, which affects the blowing ability. As long as the cooling fan pulley bearing has enough lubrication in the usual maintenance, it can be avoided.
The failure of the cooling water pump leads to the non-circulation of the cooling water, resulting in the increase of the water temperature. This is due to wear and leakage of the inner gear after long-term use of the pump. This kind of failure is also very rare in the spare oil machine. At this point, you can only contact the manufacturer to repair or replace the pump. If the thermostat fails, it cannot be opened, so that the cooling water temperature cannot change the circulating path of the cooling water, and the flow rate of the cooling water into the cooling tank can be controlled to achieve the purpose of regulating the cooling intensity. In this case, replace the temperature controller.
The use of unqualified coolant will cause the accumulation of scale, rust and other substances in the cooling water pipeline, hinder the circulation of cooling water, resulting in the rise of water temperature. The coolant should consist of water, antifreeze, or water and antirust, with water PH purified water usually chosen between 6 and 8. For the cooling system with serious deposition or blockage, add 0.5 liters of cleaning agent and clean water for every 7 liters of cooling system volume, start 90 minutes of circulating cooling water cleaning, and then clean with clean water to avoid the residual cleaning agent in the pipeline corrosion pipeline.
