1. Long time idling operation
When the diesel engine runs at idle speed for a long time, due to the low temperature in the cylinder and insufficient fuel combustion, it is easy to form carbon deposits on the combustion chamber and the fuel injector, which deteriorates the working conditions of the fuel injector. Especially in cold weather conditions in winter. Due to carbon deposits in the combustion chamber, the heat dissipation is slower. In severe cases, the throttle hole of the fuel injection nozzle will be blocked or oil dripping. The fuel stays on the head of the fuel injector for a long time and burns, and the local high temperature will cause the fuel injector and the heat insulation sleeve to melt.
2. The injection time is too late
A fuel injection advance angle that is too small will cause the fuel injection time to be too late, resulting in worse fuel combustion. If it is not adjusted for a long time, the local high temperature will cause the fuel injector and the heat insulation sleeve to melt.
3. Dirty fuel
There are small particles of impurities in the fuel, which will wear the needle valve and needle valve body at the fuel injection nozzle, and seriously block the hour valve in the needle valve body. The needle valve is stuck, and the fuel cannot be injected into the combustion chamber regularly, quantitatively, and quickly, resulting in oil dripping or jetting. Therefore, the fuel atomization is not good, the burning speed is reduced, and the burning time at the fuel injection nozzle is prolonged, which eventually leads to the melting of the fuel injection nozzle and the thermal insulation jacket. When this type of failure occurs, the diesel will emit black smoke and shake.
4. Improper assembly
If the heat shield of the fuel injector is installed without cleaning, there will be a gap between the fuel injector head and the heat shield, allowing gas to enter the gap, resulting in reduced heat insulation and heat dissipation, and the fuel injector and the heat shield Heat jacket burns. If the heat shield is installed too tightly, the fuel injector will create additional stress. Under the combined action of thermal alternating load and fuel injection high pressure load, the injector head will break, the needle valve will stick and drip oil. Also, if the heat shield is omitted during maintenance and the injector extends beyond 4 mm below the cylinder head, the heat absorbed by the injector will also increase and the injector will burn.
