Diesel generator set is a kind of internal combustion generator set, which is composed of diesel engine, communication synchronous generator, controller, coupling and common base, etc. Generally, the complete sets of production units use a common base to generate diesel and communication synchronous power. The main components such as the engine and the controller are assembled together to form a whole, that is, an integrated diesel generator set. In addition to the common base of the welded steel section of the high-power unit, the diesel engine and the generator device are welded on the steel, the control panel, fuel tank, water tank and other equipment need to be planned separately for easy movement and installation.

 

The flywheel housing of the diesel engine and the front end cover of the generator are axially connected with a shoulder to form a direct connection, and a cylindrical elastic coupling is used to directly drive the generator to rotate by the flywheel. This connection mode is fixed together by screws, so that the two are connected together, ensuring that the concentricity of the crankshaft of the diesel engine and the rotor of the generator is within the specified range.

 

In order to reduce noise, the unit generally needs a special muffler, and in special cases, the unit needs to be fully shielded. In order to reduce the vibration of the unit, a damper or rubber damping pad is generally installed at the junction of the main components such as the diesel engine, generator, control box and water tank and the common base. Some control boxes also use secondary vibration reduction methods.
