On the other hand, the diesel generator set will vibrate and generate noise during operation. Therefore, the equipment room needs to be ventilated and cooled. The general method of exhaust air is to set up a hot air channel. The hot air channel is connected to the radiator. The connection is made of soft joints. The hot air is discharged at the end of the diesel engine (driving type for land-based generator set). The exhaust groove should be extended out of the building. In addition, to prevent any hot air from flowing back, because if this hot air is introduced into the computer room by the cooling system, it will cause the diesel generator to overheat. If it is introduced for combustion, it will also lose power. The area of the general air outlet should be at least 1.5 times the area of the radiator. If the machine room is located on the first floor, the air inlet of the diesel generator should be as close as possible to the inlet end of the fresh air, so that there is no need to install an air inlet, just install the air inlet shutters or the machine room door with shutters, However, the air intake area must meet the requirements of the unit, generally it should be greater than 18 times the area of the generator radiator. 4 The diesel generator set of the oil supply and storage system needs to supply a large amount of diesel oil, and a certain amount of oil must be reserved.For small units, only an oil tank is required, and for larger units, an oil storage room should be provided. Pay attention to the following points when installing the oil tank.The maximum oil level of the oil tank (tank) cannot be higher than 2.5m above the base of the unit, otherwise a daily oil tank should be added in the middle; the oil level should be 50mm higher than the bottom of the oil tank to avoid drawing sediment into the unit ; An extra oil pan should be added at the bottom of the tank to collect the spilled oil; the top of the tank must be provided with an inspection port for maintenance; the oil delivery pipe should be a black iron pipe, and galvanized pipe cannot be used to avoid chemical reactions and damage to the unit; return oil pipe The oil path to the oil tank must be kept below 2.5m height. 5 Smoke exhaust silencer system The smoke exhaust system should be arranged as short as possible, but it should meet the requirements of local planning and environmental protection departments, and elbows and long-diameter elbows should be used as little as possible. Due to the high-speed flow of hot smoke exhaust, the flow line becomes abnormally unstable.If the flow direction changes rapidly, the back pressure of the smoke exhaust system will increase, which will hinder the smoke exhaust effect, resulting in power loss of the generator set. Possible to reduce back pressure. When the conditions require that the length of the smoke exhaust system is greater than 9m, the diameter of the smoke exhaust pipe should be increased.

 

The first section of the exhaust pipe from the diesel generator exhaust pipe must contain a flexible hose or bellows, and the second section of the exhaust pipe should be supported to allow the flexible pipe to move around without causing load to the generator On the Explorer. The wall thickness of the smoke exhaust pipe should be greater than 3mm. When the smoke exhaust pipe needs to pass through the wall, it should be equipped with a sleeve or a wall jacket, otherwise the wall will crack due to excessive heat and may cause a fire. The smoke exhaust port should be far away from the building air intake bar or doors and windows, designed to be rain-proof, and equipped with a drain point or a drain collection plate near the long smoke exhaust pipe of the diesel generator. Smoke exhaust mufflers should be installed on the smoke exhaust pipes, and different mufflers are selected according to different places, and places with low noise control requirements; common shock or absorption mufflers at the top of the pipe, residential mufflers for places with high noise control requirements There is a spark brake silencer for explosive gas. For small units, the local environmental protection department allows the flue gas to be directly discharged into the atmosphere. For larger units, the local environmental protection department generally does not allow the flue gas to be directly discharged into the atmosphere. The size of the smoke abatement pond is determined by the size of the unit, generally 3 ~ 20m3.
